The story

Why we started, and how we work.

Before founding North Star, Sarah Jensen spent a decade as a buyer's agent at a large Twin Cities brokerage. She was good at it. But she watched clients get passed between coordinators, lose track of their own transactions, and end up at closing having no idea what they signed six weeks earlier.

North Star was a deliberate correction. A smaller client load means every client gets a primary point of contact from first call to closing day. The model costs us growth. It's also why our repeat and referral rate sits above 70%.

We serve Minneapolis, St. Paul, Edina, Bloomington, Maple Grove, Plymouth, and the surrounding metro. We don't work in markets we don't know.

    Before we look at a single listing, we build a strategy. For buyers, that means pre-approval, neighborhood prioritization, and offer parameters. For sellers, it means pricing, timing, and prep.

    Active, honest guidance

    We tell you when a home is priced wrong. We tell you when an offer won't win. We tell you when to wait. Our job is to give you real information, not to move the transaction along.

    Clear to close, and beyond

    We stay engaged through the inspection, the appraisal, and every document in between. After closing, we're still your local real estate contact for questions, referrals, and the next move.
